Dynamic Journey Leadership Consulting (DJLC) is a consulting company that facilitates you and your team to grow as effective leaders and to proactively design your organization to meet challenging and constantly evolving circumstances. Our goal is to help you unlock doors of potential within each person, then see and seize an open door in your environment.

The DJLC approach is to define an agile strategy (mission and vision) and values that becomes the framework. The Human Resource practices, operating processes and practices, and information systems are designed to reinforce the strategy and values.

Your goal is to place the right people in the right positions for an effective team. This begins with values based hiring, not just screening for technical skills. Leader and team assessments can identify strengths and potential growth areas. We provide team building exercises to ensure global teams communicate and work effectively. Seminars and individual coaching can expand individual’s skill sets and transform their thinking for this new environment. Group creativity workshops unleash new thinking. DJLC is equipped to tailor our resources to meet your needs.

Deborah Jenks

Dr. Deborah Jenks is the Founder and President of Dynamic Journey Leadership Consulting (DJLC). Her extensive practical exper ience in leadership and IT consulting, project management, and defining requirements for information systems is balanced with a recent Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. Through living and working globally for over thirty years she has garnered a global perspective. She has lived in Italy, England, Israel, Taiwan, and Sweden. In addition, she has worked “virtually” on global and local team so understands the unique challenges and advantages of developing virtual environments to increase productivity. Deborah is a published author of articles and a book.


Dr. Jenks worked for IBM for ten years, primarily to lead software development projects. This included a two year overseas assignment in the UK. She was awarded four IBM awards and selected to present at two IBM Worldwide Conferences. She “retired” to work globally with non-profits. She returned to the high tech world as a consultant. She led several domestic and dual-shore software development projects. Deborah defined numerous global business and IT processes. In addition, she provided leadership and IT services to the federal government.


Deborah earned her B.A. from Trinity College, CT, M.S. in Information Science from Drexel University, and her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership (DSL) at Regent University. Her DSL is a degree which takes leadership theories and applies them practically to real-life situations. She completed numerous training courses in executive presentations, project management, marketing, and computer programming.


Her clients have included: International Business Machines (IBM); Public Broadcasting System (PBS); Goldman Sachs; CapitalOne; Bureau of National Affairs (BNA); 3 start-ups; Department of Education, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
